Please remember that your player’s age group is determined by their age as of JANUARY 1st – the year of the tournament is being held. However, players may be asked to play up an age level if the event is close to the end of the calendar year. Also, please understand that when you agree to attend an event it is a full commitment. Players are expected to participate in all aspects of the event – from team practices, team meetings, team bonding events and the event itself.

USA Field Hockey Back to Hockey – USA Field Hockey is looking to hold two back to hockey events. The event format will be 7 v 7 with a 5 game minimum guarantee. The cost would be approximately $150 per player. These events are not definite they are surveying clubs for interest. As soon as we get more information we will pass it along but if they open it up we want to be prepared to register teams as I would anticipate the event will fill up quickly. This event will be for all age divisions.
- Pennsylvania at the Proving Grounds on July 21- 23 (no overnight stay required)
- Virginia Beach Training center on July 31 – Aug 2
Shooting Stars Jamboree – This event was originally supposed to be held Easter weekend but was postponed due to COVID. If the NCAA dead period is not extended this will be the first chance for DI and DII coaches to recruit in months. I anticipate this to be a highly attended event by coaches from all 3 divisions. The event will be held at DE Turf Sports Complex, Frederica, DE, 4000 Bay Rd, Milford Rd, Miford DE 19963. You can choose to stay overnight or drive back and forth to the event. Games will be played on Friday August, 7th – Sunday, August 9th and could start as early as 5pm on Friday and end as late as 6pm on Sunday. We will be taking a U16 and U19 team. We have a U14 and a U12 team on the waitlist and anticipate entry into these divisions as well. The tournament fee for this event would be $200 per player. We would have a couple of training sessions for this event in July. Dates would be determined by player and coach availability for those attending the event.
National Hockey Festival – The national hockey festival is entering its 40th year in 2020. This is a great opportunity to play some great hockey and for college coaches to see you play. At this point, this event is scheduled to be held in Panama City Beach, FL, this would be a new location for 2020. USAFH is considering changing the location to a more drivable location for the east coast teams. This event will be held from Thursday, November 26th – Sunday, November 29th. If it stays in Florida games would be played on Thur, Fri and Sat. If the event moves they are considering game play on Fri, Sat, Sun. As we get more information we will pass it on. Right now we are collecting interest for this event so we are prepared to register teams when things are finalized. This event would more than likely require travel and an overnight stay. The anticipated tournament fee, based on prior years, would be $400. We can hold a fundraiser to help offset costs. Available age divisions, U12-U19.
Shooting Stars – Thanksgiving – This event is another opportunity to play some great hockey and for college coaches to see you play. It is held at River City Sportsplex in Midlothian, VA. This event will be held from Friday, November 27th – Sunday, November 29th. Right now we are collecting interest for this event so we are prepared to register teams when registration opens if the interest supports entering teams. This event would require travel and an overnight stay. The anticipated tournament fee would be $400. We can hold a fundraiser to help offset costs. Available age divisions, U12-U19.
NFHCA Winter Escape – This event is another opportunity to play some great hockey and for college coaches to see you play. It is held at Boombah Sports Complex, Seminole County, FL. This event will be held from Friday, January 15th – Sunday, January 17th. Right now we are collecting interest for this event so we are prepared to register teams when registration opens if the interest supports entering teams. This event would require travel and an overnight stay. The anticipated tournament fee would be $400. We can hold a fundraiser to help offset costs. High School players are eligible to attend this event.
Disney Field Hockey Showcase – This event is another opportunity to play some great hockey and for college coaches to see you play. It is held at the Disney ESPN Sports Complex, Orlando, FL. This event is scheduled to be held from Friday, January 29th – Sunday, January 31st. As we get more information on the date being finalized we will pass it on. If the date changes we will send out a new interested form. Right now we are collecting interest for this event so we are prepared to register teams when things are finalized. This event would require travel and an overnight stay. The anticipated tournament fee would be $400. We can hold a fundraiser to help offset costs. Available age divisions, U12-U19.
